About

I am a lawyer, member of the Quebec Bar since 1990 and also holder, since 2018, of a master’s degree in biomedical sciences, (clinical ethics option), from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montreal. I specialize in ethics and healthcare law, as well as in the field of the protection of vulnerable persons.

Any situation of loss of autonomy, of illness or of disability can lead to a violation of the most fundamental rights and dignity of a person. I consider it essential that every person in a vulnerable situation be represented and accompanied, be it in dealings with institutions (healthcare facilities, social services) or before the courts. It is equally essential to me to favor empathy and dialogue in these complex situations in order to preserve, to the extent possible, a trusting relationship between vulnerable persons, their caregivers and their loved ones.
